Elizabeth “Beth” Keeter, J.D.

A longtime resident of Gainesville, Beth Keeter earned her undergraduate degree in advertising and her law degree, both with honors, from the University of Florida.

Beth began her legal career in Gainesville as a worker’s compensation defense attorney (coincidentally with Mac McCarty). She then worked as an Assistant County Attorney in the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office where she provided legal advice to a wide variety of county related agencies and served as trial counsel for the county in the enforcement of Florida Statues and local ordinances. Retuning to Gainesville, Beth took a break from her legal career to raise three children. Currently, Beth focuses her practice on Real Estate and Business Law and is proud to be practicing with her friend and former employer, Mac McCarty.

Beth is an active member of the local Bar association and the North Florida Association of Real Estate Attorneys. She is also a licensed Realtor and member of the Gainesville/Alachua County Association of Realtors. While in Tampa, she was an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and served on the Board of Directors of the Tampa Gator Club. In addition, she has served on the J.J. Finley PTA Board, worked as a classroom volunteer for the Alachua County School Board and with children’s ministry in her church. For several years, she was a group fitness instructor at Gainesville Health and Fitness Center and continues to be an avid runner.

Beth and her husband Bob, also a Gainesville attorney, live in Gainesville and have three children: Danielle, Sydnie and Noah.
